📋 Description

• Report to the Team Lead • Provide one-on-one peer support to individuals with SUD using personal lived experience • Develop individualized recovery plans with members based on their strengths and needs • Collaborate with clinical and support teams to provide integrated member care • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of member interactions, progress, and outcomes • Advocate for members and help them access community resources and services • Participate in ongoing training and professional development • Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members • Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors or management • Deliver 50–60 twenty-minute sessions weekly • Support high member satisfaction, engagement, reassessment rates, effective team collaboration, and timely documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing peer support to individuals with SUD • Lived experience with substance use recovery, demonstrating a strong personal commitment to the recovery journey • Lived experience with mental health treatment and recovery also strongly encouraged to support members with co-occurring conditions • Strong understanding of recovery principles, techniques, and best practices such as motivational interviewing, stages of change, and recovery capital • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with members • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team • Proactive approach to problem-solving and resourcefulness in navigating complex systems of care • Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.) • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all member interactions • Required Monday–Friday schedule: 12pm–8pm EST or equivalent in the respective time zone
