📋 Description

• Manage logistics strategies, documentation, and compliance for clinical trial projects of increasing complexity • Support study setup, maintenance, and execution • Manage a portfolio of 20–40 complex studies • Collaborate with Setup Managers, Strategic Client Managers, Project Managers, Client Services, Sponsors, Contract Research Organizations, carriers, and external partners • Respond to logistics queries and concerns from Project Management • Investigate shipping-lane feasibility and recommend transit strategies • Create site instructions and Starter Packs with selected carriers • Develop logistics and customs compliance strategies and processes • Develop and execute processes for pro-forma and shipment-specific invoices • Manage logistics documents for movement of materials and biological specimens across global borders • Explain international carrier and logistics-solution performance based on data • Maintain processes for daily transactions and timely movement of products • Support investigation and corrective/preventive actions for logistics-related Quality Events • Assume responsibilities of other Logistics Team roles when required

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree • 4+ years of industry-related logistics experience in managing clinical studies required • Knowledge of international supply chain processes, carriers, third party logistics companies, forwarders, couriers, and transportation performance measures required • Ability to operate at a fast pace and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously with tight deadlines • Strong communication skills • Ability to work independently • Exemplary multitasking and organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, positive attitude • Full fluency in English • Strong math abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP software • Experience managing complex clinical studies preferred • Experience leading and mentoring others preferred • No travel required
