📋 Description

• Review education space requests end-to-end, including reading blueprints, interpreting enrollment and program needs, and developing 2-D and 3-D plans • Select furniture, storage, carpets, and supplemental materials for indoor and outdoor classroom environments • Balance developmental best practices with budget and space constraints • Produce drawings, renderings, and design deliverables for educators, administrators, and internal teams • Apply knowledge of early learning and K–12 curricula and standards to support diverse learners • Partner with colleagues to present Lakeshore's vision to school stakeholders • Field stakeholder questions and represent Lakeshore's approach

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in classroom teaching, curriculum development, or a closely related educational role • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints or floor plans, or equivalent experience with space planning in an educational context • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat • Comfort learning design or specification software such as CAP/CET Designer • Bachelor's degree in education, interior design, environmental design, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience • Ability to work remotely and independently, managing multiple project requests simultaneously with strong follow-through • Preferred: Hands-on experience with space planning, furniture specification, or learning environment design • Preferred: Familiarity with Lakeshore's early learning or K–12 product lines
