📋 Description

• Lead the day-to-day execution of complex secondary transactions, including GP-led processes (Continuation Funds, Strip Sales, Tender Offers, etc.), ensuring seamless coordination between clients, legal counsel and external advisors • Drive the preparation of pitch materials and strategic advice for prospective clients • Spearhead the preparation of detailed marketing materials, including Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), investor presentations, teasers and various other investor communications • Oversee the development of financial models, including secondary-specific models such as cash flow projections, fund-level waterfall models, returns analysis for prospective buyers and detailed valuation analysis • Orchestrate the global investor outreach process, managing competitive tension among secondary funds, sovereign wealth funds, and pension funds to optimize pricing and terms for the client • Manage technical due diligence workstreams, synthesizing complex investor requests for GP management teams and ensuring high-velocity execution across multiple live transactions • Cultivate and maintain relationships with General Partners and institutional investors, serving as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor throughout the transaction lifecycle • Communicate regularly with Lazard's institutional investor coverage professionals and across Lazard M&A and financial sponsor coverage teams

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5-7 years of investment banking, secondary advisory, investing or other relevant experience; prior experience with GP-led transactions is highly preferred • Strong background in private equity transactions, fund advisory, or secondaries • Demonstrated experience leading deal execution and managing junior team members • Exceptional financial modeling, analytical and presentation skills • Top academic performance with comfort operating in a fast-paced environment that values initiative, creativity, and maturity • A proactive self-starter mentality with the ability to operate with minimal supervision while working collaboratively within a team
