📋 Description

• Liaise with implementation coordinators to provide updates on data migration progress • Migrate data accurately and on time • Reconcile migrated accounting data • Expand and add functionality to the transition process • Create and maintain documentation and internal systems • Observe and control Transitions Department projects daily • Produce written reports on migrated data • Perform QA testing on transition software • Ensure client data sets are complete and ready for migration • Run migration tools for applicable legacy systems • Verify successful data imports into LEAP • Ensure time, client funds, and office balances match legacy data cut-off • Liaise with clients regarding migration progress, transition reports, and roadblocks • Test bug fixes • Keep the Partner Network informed about migration-tool improvements • Assist the Partner Network with migration questions and ensure quality migrations

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in MS SQL Server, including writing queries, joins, scripts, and stored procedures • Solid understanding of database environments • Hands-on experience with ETL methodologies and source-to-target field mapping • Experience with script automation in Python or PowerShell • Expertise in Excel for schema validation and cleanup, including nested formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and text-to-columns • Working knowledge of legal trust/client and office accounting • Familiarity with legal terminology, including matters, unbilled fees, disbursements, and safe custody • Experience with legal practice management systems (desirable) • Ability to plan, prioritise, and track conversion work through to completion • Exceptional eye for detail and data accuracy • Confidence liaising directly with clients on conversion status, issues, and timelines
