📋 Description

• Lead migration of data from SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, and SAP Data Services to Azure-based infrastructure • Design and implement dimensional modeling and data warehousing solutions using DBT, Python, and related technologies • Manage secure, reliable, and scalable ETL pipelines using DBT, Databricks notebooks, and REST APIs • Support reporting and analytics using PowerBI • Develop semantic layers, SQL endpoints, and lakehouse structures in Microsoft PowerBI Fabric • Collaborate with outsourced vendors and internal team members to deliver projects and transfer knowledge • Modernize data workflows and implement CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft DevOps, Terraform, and Python automation • Establish reporting structures enabling data accessibility and insights for global data stewards and other departments • Participate in Agile sprint planning and deliver commitments within two-week sprint cycles • Communicate with contractors and internal teams in technical English

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including Data Lake and Azure Synapse • Experience with Databricks • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD • Proven expertise in data warehousing methodologies, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes • Experience with DBT for managing ETL workloads • Proficiency in Python for data extraction and automation, particularly with REST APIs and CI/CD workflows • Advanced experience with PowerBI, including semantic models, PowerBI Fabric, SQL endpoints, and migrating from on-prem SSRS to PowerBI Service • Excellent English communication skills • Proven ability to work in Agile environments • Experience working with outsourced vendors and internal stakeholders • Track record of successfully delivering complex cloud migration projects • Seasoned professional able to work without extensive onboarding or guidance • Familiarity with machine learning document processing tools is a plus • Hands-on experience using Terraform for cloud infrastructure management is preferred
