📋 Description

• Work with attorneys and clients to identify breakdowns in legal services and software • Turn interviews, support requests, usage data, and workflow observations into a prioritized backlog • Balance bugs, usability improvements, and new capabilities • Own features from discovery through launch, including problem definition, solution scoping, requirements, acceptance criteria, and engineering delivery • Apply product and design judgment to complex workflows using wireframes or lightweight prototypes • Test products, identify edge cases, coordinate releases, and follow up with users • Measure improvements in matter turnaround, attorney manual work, client handoffs, and communication • Align founders, engineers, product operations, and attorneys on priorities and decisions • Help shape product management practices as the company grows

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of product management experience building software with an engineering team • Record of personally taking products or features from problem discovery to launch and explaining the results • Excellent product judgment and prioritization ability • High bar for execution and quality; ownership and attention to detail • Strong user research skills and empathy for people doing complicated work • Clear writing and communication skills • Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, data flows, and AI product limitations • Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities at an early-stage company • Legal, financial, document-heavy workflow, startup, internal tools, operations software, AI product, analytics, SQL, prototyping tools, or AI coding tools experience especially useful but not required • Legal background not required
