📋 Description

• Advance the strategic focus of the Anaplan ecosystem at Markel • Develop Markel’s long-term Anaplan strategy • Create and prioritize the Anaplan backlog and identify optimization opportunities • Deliver efficient and effective Anaplan-centric solutions supporting business objectives • Lead managerial responsibilities for the Anaplan Center of Excellence team • Set staff goals, provide development opportunities, and plan resource capacity • Plan and direct COE activities and manage competing priorities • Recruit staff and evaluate staffing needs • Liaise with business leads and present information to stakeholders • Translate business needs into usability requirements for solution development and model enhancements • Maintain and prioritize the enhancement backlog • Maintain and enhance upstream and downstream integrations and data integrity • Oversee production support and day-to-day Anaplan operations • Maintain and enhance the security framework • Identify and mitigate risks and remove barriers within the Anaplan ecosystem

🎯 Requirements

• Anaplan technical knowledge and model builder experience • Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills • Ability to manage and develop a team and balance competing priorities • US Work Authorization required • Markel does not provide visa sponsorship for this position, now or in the future • Experience administering an application (preferred) • Experience in financial planning and budgeting (preferred)
