📋 Description

• Administer ServiceNow SAM Pro to enable accurate software installation discovery, ensure license compliance, and support end-to-end asset lifecycle management • Create, manage, and maintain software entitlements, including license models, license distribution, and terms of use related to ServiceNow-managed contracts • Perform software license reconciliation by comparing entitlements against deployments and usage • Monitor software consumption and identify license optimization and cost-saving opportunities • Analyze discovery-tool integrations, including SCCM, JAMF, Intune, and Nexthink; identify, analyze, and resolve defects through root-cause analysis and continuous monitoring • Facilitate internal and external audits by delivering entitlement, deployment, and usage data through validated asset records and system reporting • Collaborate with ServiceNow developers using SDLC knowledge to define requirements, conduct user acceptance testing, analyze system behavior, and troubleshoot defects • Identify process gaps and recommend efficiency improvements through system automation • Share Software Asset Management best practices to improve company processes

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree • Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Asset Management, with at least 1 year specifically using ServiceNow SAM Pro • Outstanding communication and analytical skills • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas) • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment • ServiceNow Certifications and/or Training (preferred) • IAITAM Certifications (preferred) • Experience with cloud/SaaS asset management, including Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, AWS, etc. (preferred) • Knowledge of complex licensing models, including Oracle and Microsoft (preferred) • Experience supporting internal or external license audits (preferred) • Understanding of CMDB and its relationship to software entitlements (preferred) • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 19770 (preferred)
