📋 Description

• Lead the contract attorney recruiting function during an initial 3-month assessment period • Develop and execute a recruiting strategy for Managed Review contract attorneys aligned to insourced staffing targets • Design and implement recruiting workflows covering requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and redeployment • Build standardized playbooks for high-volume hiring across varying project types and client-specific requirements • Source qualified contract attorneys through job boards, networks, referrals, and direct outreach • Develop and maintain segmented talent pools, including prior reviewers, jurisdiction-specific candidates, and specialized subject matter candidates • Use market insights and data to adjust sourcing strategies and improve pipeline effectiveness • Establish consistent screening and evaluation criteria aligned with project requirements and client expectations • Partner with Managed Review leadership, operations, and Review Managers to refine candidate profiles, skillsets, and quality benchmarks • Conduct structured screening, interviews, and qualification processes • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout recruiting and onboarding • Oversee compliant and efficient onboarding workflows • Partner with Review Managers and review leadership to select reviewers for project deployment • Coordinate with Managed Review operations to ensure timely deployment and project readiness • Identify and resolve onboarding bottlenecks • Assess recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, acceptance rates, reviewer quality, and redeployment rates • Identify risks, opportunities, and resourcing requirements for scaling the contract attorney recruiting function • Advise on tools and resources needed to build a sustainable recruiting engine • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 7–10+ years of legal recruiting experience, with significant exposure to high-volume or contract attorney recruiting; managed review, eDiscovery, or legal staffing preferred • 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring recruiters or recruiting teams • Experience building or scaling recruiting processes and infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-demand environment • Ability to operate strategically and tactically, balancing hands-on execution with process development • Excellent relationship management skills and ability to partner with operations, legal teams, and senior leadership • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive recruiting decisions and improvements • Strong customer-service orientation and influencing skills • Expert knowledge of employment law • Working knowledge of current recruitment and talent sourcing practices and strategies, including social media and digital marketing • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strategic, creative, and innovative thinking skills with sound judgment • Excellent organizational and project management skills • Ability to work successfully in a team environment and independently • Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting tools required • Ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material • May be required to be on call periodically and work evenings and weekends
