📋 Description

• Maintain and effectively communicate deep scientific knowledge within the assigned therapeutic area • Engage continuously in learning to maintain technical expertise • Engage scientific experts in mutually beneficial two-way dialogues • Provide advanced disease-state and product information • Connect scientific experts with Lilly resources and internal business partners • Identify possible collaborative research or external collaborations • Synthesize complex data and communicate clinical insights and unanswered customer questions to Lilly medical and cross-functional teams • Use creative problem-solving and internal resources to execute solutions • Make independent principle-based decisions or escalate them appropriately • Cultivate internal networks and collaborate across functions • Contribute to medical planning and strategy in the affiliate • Analyze, plan, prioritize, implement, and evaluate a strategic territory plan • Execute the role compliantly and adhere to governing requirements, procedures, and laws

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD in a medically related field) required • 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience desired • Masters or bachelor’s level degree in health sciences (e.g. BSN, RPh, PA, NP) considered if 5 or more years clinical, research or industry experience in relevant therapeutic area is present • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas • Ability to travel up to 80% and work up to 4 to 6 weekends a year • Must live in close proximity to a transport hub (airport/train station) • Intellectual curiosity about the field of science/medicine • Learning agility to comprehend and communicate complex scientific content clearly and concisely • Self-directed and able to work alone in the field while managing multiple priorities and projects • Advanced presentation and computer skills with expertise in literature identification • Strategic and critical thinking skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to use field-based electronic or other communication tools • Resiliency in managing complex challenges • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including emotional intelligence and professional relationship building and networking
