📋 Description

• Join Lilt's Medical Talent Community as a Romanian medical translator • Adapt and validate target text to meet regulatory compliance standards • Translate and localize content for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and biotechnology • Work with patient records and clinical protocols • Follow standard operating procedures in GxP environments • Adhere to ISO 17100 quality standards • Provide project lists or references highlighting past work in regulated medical markets • Confirm familiarity with relevant local regulations • Complete a domain-specific translation or review test • Contribute to Lilt's AI and language technology projects • Work independently according to personal availability and project demand

🎯 Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s) • Currently based in the United States of America • A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience • Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely • Professional experience in translation and localization within the Medical/Life Sciences domains • Proven track record specifically within the Life Sciences vertical • Experience with patient records and clinical protocols • Ability to work within strict GxP environments • Adherence to ISO 17100 quality standards • Reliable availability and commitment • Quality work and on-time delivery after accepting tasks • Ability to complete experience verification, compliance audit, and specialized assessment • English-language Resume/C.V. required • Must be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor • Geographic restrictions may apply due to international embargoes or sanctions
