📋 Description

• Analyze U.S. and international legislative and regulatory developments affecting digital platforms, online safety, content regulation, and freedom of expression. • Develop strategic policy recommendations supporting regulatory readiness and responsible product development. • Partner with product, engineering, legal, and risk teams to identify policy gaps, assess risks, and develop scalable mitigation strategies. • Provide policy guidance for emerging product features and launches. • Coordinate cross functional initiatives, align priorities, and track progress against regulatory objectives. • Build stakeholder consensus through clear communication, negotiation, and sound judgment. • Anticipate regulatory challenges, identify escalation needs, and independently drive solutions. • Support global content regulation strategy and provide strategic policy guidance for a rapidly evolving social media platform.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Policy, Human Rights, or a related discipline. • Minimum 7 years of relevant public policy, legislative analysis, regulatory, or related institutional experience. • Experience navigating U.S. and global policy issues, particularly those affecting internet technologies and digital platforms. • Knowledge of data privacy, online safety, security, content regulation, and freedom of expression. • Strong cross functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. • Experience supporting regulatory compliance and executing complex initiatives. • Exceptional written communication, analytical, and problem solving abilities. • Ability to operate independently, exercise discretion, and manage sensitive information. • English language proficiency required. • Must address current or future U.S. work sponsorship requirements.
