📋 Description

• Act as the primary support and day-to-day client contact for client service teams and operations • Maintain client records, system defaults, tariff databases, vendors, keywords, and client instructions • Facilitate release and entry summary completion • Verify documentation for release conditions, compliance, rating compliance, and free trade certificates • Create, maintain, and follow client SOPs and ESPs • Ensure accurate and timely release and rating of shipments across all transportation modes • Create customs entries and key shipment information for EDI release, rating, and billing • Contact clients and carriers to obtain missing documentation, information, or instructions • Work with Customs and PGAs as necessary • Conduct tariff, valuation, client/importer information checks, and documented internal audits • Support performance measurement reporting for the Client Service Team • Coordinate daily team operations, priorities, scheduling, problem-solving, meetings, and special projects • Implement electronic data relationships and keep abreast of new system developments • Perform other related duties and adhere to established policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years of related experience • High School/GED or equivalent required • Working toward or successful completion of the Certified Customs Specialists (CCS) designation is required if not already obtained • Successful completion of the CCS examination is mandatory for further advancement • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills • Client-service-oriented interpersonal skills • Ability to handle large volumes and meet tight deadlines • Strong knowledge of company policies and procedures • Attention to detail, organization, completeness, and accuracy • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to make decisions and recommendations within authorized limitations • Excellent time management skills • Ability to present a professional image • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • Ability to interpret customs documentation and apply tariff, valuation, rating, and importer information accurately
