📋 Description

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for data science initiatives, including technical vision, priorities, and roadmaps • Drive key technical decisions with clients and practice leadership • Translate client business objectives into advanced analytics solutions • Lead solution architecture and design from concept through production • Analyze large, complex datasets • Develop, train, and validate statistical, predictive, and machine learning models • Write production-quality Python code and review team code • Establish best practices for model development, testing, documentation, and performance monitoring • Mentor data scientists and analysts • Collaborate with data engineering, product, and business teams on end-to-end technical execution • Communicate findings to executive and non-technical audiences • Contribute technical estimates and solution input to project planning and business development

🎯 Requirements

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in data science, software development, or a related field • Hands-on object-oriented programming (OOP) in Python • Experience building production-grade models using Python and SQL • Experience setting technical strategies and roadmaps • Experience leading technical execution of complex analytics initiatives and driving technical decisions • Experience designing end-to-end solution architectures • Experience building solutions in Azure, including Azure Machine Learning, MLflow, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric • Advanced hands-on Python skills • Experience leading code reviews and enforcing coding standards, testing, and version control • Experience across the full data science lifecycle, from problem definition through model deployment, monitoring, and adoption • Demonstrated success leading technical delivery of data science solutions • Experience mentoring data scientists and analysts in enterprise environments • Strong client-facing consulting experience • Technical support for business development • Exceptional communication skills for technical and business audiences
