📋 Description

• Integrate advanced AI capabilities across GDIT's suite • Accelerate and evaluate the efficacy of AI coding tools across the team • Implement custom-built and vendor/COTS AI solutions hands-on from prototype through production • Design and implement AI solutions for automated program accomplishment tracking and reporting • Develop intelligent classification systems and proactive knowledge management solutions • Implement generative AI with LLMs and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) for precise, data-driven responses • Build an agentic framework for service ticket management, account administration, and intelligent journey orchestration • Support CMS Hosting, Operations & Maintenance (HOM) program • Supervise and mentor other AI/ML Data Scientists

🎯 Requirements

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 8+ years of experience as a data scientist with a proven track record of deploying AI/ML production solutions required • Strong AI/ML coding ability • Ability to implement custom and vendor-based AI solutions independently • Experience using AI coding tools • Experience with generative AI (GenAI) and large language models (LLMs) • Strong foundation in machine learning, statistical analysis, and experimental design with quantitative and qualitative data • Expertise in AI/ML cloud technologies, preferably AWS, including Bedrock, Lambda, and SageMaker • Experience with Python data science stack: Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow • Experience with SQL • Experience integrating AI solutions with legacy enterprise systems and orchestration platforms • Experience establishing and scaling AI/ML programs, developing roadmaps, and increasing user/tool adoption • Familiarity with data engineering, ETL processes, data pipelines, and APIs • Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to stakeholders and leadership • Ability to supervise and mentor other AI/ML Data Scientists • Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust • Must be able to work remotely from Louisiana, USA
