The LOVB organization also operates a foundation to increase access to volleyball, sells tickets and merchandise, and produces media/insider content for fans.

📋 Description

• Execute assigned marketing activities for LOVB youth tournaments and events using established campaign plans, timelines, templates, and processes • Coordinate marketing deliverables with club teams and internal partners, track deadlines, and follow up on outstanding materials or information • Maintain and distribute approved tournament marketing kits, templates, digital assets, and other resources for LOVB Clubs • Support seasonal local marketing activities for new-build clubs by coordinating approved materials and campaign deliverables • Support marketing and on-site activation for select LOVB-owned tournaments, including preparation of materials, signage, promotional assets, and event resources • Coordinate activation needs with Brand, Content, Partnerships, Operations, and other internal teams • Review tournament marketing materials and event touch points against LOVB brand guidelines and flag inconsistencies or questions • Assist with on-site athlete, family, fan, sponsor, and community engagement activities during key events • Track and compile registration, attendance, engagement, and other event marketing metrics using existing reporting tools • Gather feedback and observations from clubs, internal partners, and events and organize findings for Marketing leadership • Maintain organized project files, calendars, marketing assets, event documentation, and status updates • Collaborate with LOVB Clubs and internal partners under the direction of Youth Marketing leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and details • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to follow established processes while asking questions and escalating issues when appropriate • Strong attention to detail when reviewing marketing materials, brand assets, schedules, and event deliverables • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and club partners in a distributed environment • Comfortable working with basic marketing, project management, presentation, spreadsheet, and digital collaboration tools • Ability to gather, organize, and accurately report basic marketing and event performance information • Interest in marketing, event activation, sports, youth programs, or community engagement • Experience with Canva, Google Workspace, email marketing platforms, project management tools, or similar platforms is preferred • Previous internship, part-time, volunteer, or professional experience in sports, events, marketing, or youth programming is preferred • Familiarity with volleyball or the youth sports ecosystem is a plus • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sports Management, Event Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience • 0-2 years of relevant professional, internship, part-time, or volunteer experience in marketing, events, sports, or a related area • Exposure to event marketing, digital marketing, grassroots marketing, or community-based programs is preferred • Experience working or volunteering in youth sports or volleyball is a plus • Ability to operate a computer and use a keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools • Ability to clearly communicate via video, phone, and written channels • Ability to support select events that may occur during evenings or weekends
