📋 Description

• Process authorizations, enter and audit data, and manage documentation across multiple systems • Support clinical operations through correspondence, including letters and faxes • Maintain timely, compliant records aligned with productivity standards • Answer benefit, authorization, and referral questions • Verify member information in compliance with HIPAA • Provide empathetic customer service, perform basic screening, and escalate high-risk or crisis situations to clinical staff • Triage cases and route them appropriately to clinical teams • Collect and share discharge details and provider updates to support continuity of care • Coordinate accurate and timely information flow between members, providers, and clinical teams • Support care access to behavioral health services through administrative coordination and customer support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related healthcare field PLUS 1+ year experience in a health care, managed care, behavioral health, and/or customer service setting OR high school diploma PLUS 3+ years’ experience in a health care, managed care, behavioral health, and/or customer service setting • Strong computer proficiency, including ability to work within multiple systems simultaneously and accurately enter or retrieve data • Ability to talk and type simultaneously while navigating systems during live member interactions • Ability to pass background check upon hire and throughout employment, including criminal, identity, education, employment, sanctions, prohibited-parties, sex-offender-registry, and 10-panel drug-screen checks • High-speed internet service (cable or fiber optic) with minimum download speed of 20 Mbps, upload speed of 5 Mbps, and maximum latency of 100 milliseconds, installed before starting • Frequent use of computer and phone systems • Ability to remain stationary in a sitting position for long periods and perform repetitive motions with arms and fingers • Ability to communicate, inspect information, interpret data, problem solve, make decisions, organize and plan • Quiet workspace with minimal background noise for calls • Self-motivated and able to assume a collaborative role in meeting objectives • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment • Professional demeanor in all situations • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment
