• Respond promptly to sales support requests and administrative inquiries from assigned sales team members • Prepare and coordinate sales proposals/quotes • Monitor and follow up on outstanding proposals to help maintain opportunity momentum • Coordinate internal and external communication and documentation needed to support active sales opportunities • Provide contract status inquiries and escalate resolution as needed via utilization of contracting software system • Cross-train and support other sales support staff as needed • Participate in sales operations process improvement initiatives and projects • Help identify administrative bottlenecks or workflow inefficiencies impacting sales productivity • Ensure opportunity records, activity tracking, and other documentation is updated in a timely and accurate manner • Support pipeline visibility and reporting accuracy by maintaining strong CRM data hygiene • Generates reports and participates in reoccurring team meetings
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred • 3–5+ years of experience in sales support, sales administration, sales operations, or a related role • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems required • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook • Experience within healthcare benefits, insurance brokerage, or related industries is preferred but not required
