📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical counterpart for customer IT, payroll, HR, and business application teams from late-stage sales through go-live and beyond • Run discovery sessions to map customer workforce workflows and identify required integrations • Review technical specifications, interface documentation, and vendor API documentation • Support late-stage sales cycles, security reviews, and RFP responses • Embed with the Activations team on customer launches • Write integration specifications covering field mappings, data flows, source-of-truth decisions, and edge cases • Configure SSO connections, SFTP flat-file feeds, field mappings, and data transformations • Test and validate end-to-end data flows, troubleshoot failed feeds, and run UAT with customer teams • Automate repetitive setup work and remove technical friction from activations • Own integration workstreams, track open items, and flag risks • Shape integrations strategy with Product and Engineering leadership • Identify reusable integration capabilities from customer-specific solutions • Partner with Product Managers and Integrations Engineering on prioritization and technical design • Build and maintain launch playbooks, templates, and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, technical implementation, or integration consulting • Experience owning the technical relationship at enterprise customers • Ability to read REST and SOAP API documentation, interface specifications, and data schemas • Experience configuring SAML or OIDC connections with identity providers such as Okta or Entra ID • Experience setting up SFTP feeds • Experience testing endpoints in Postman • Ability to query data in SQL • Strong customer-facing communication skills • Ability to run discovery sessions and translate findings into technical specifications • Ability to track open items, flag risks early, and drive work to closure • Active use of AI in daily workflow • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Direct UKG experience, health system IT/payroll/HRIS experience, software engineering experience, startup experience, and familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, AWS are nice to have
