📋 Description

• Provide coverage in short-term, surge and on-demand situations resulting from military needs • Provide personal financial counseling and management services to military service members and their families at military installations • Deliver one-on-one counseling and consultations with commanders, providers, staff, and other stakeholders • Conduct briefings, presentations, classes, seminars, and workshops on personal financial management • Provide referral resources to participants • Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences • Develop and distribute informational financial materials • Coordinate and publicize Personal Financial Management classes and workshops across the military lifecycle • Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes and seminars • Use virtual counseling and electronic communication modes, including web-based tools, secure online chat, video communications, and secure video teleconference when authorized • Manage duty-to-warn situations according to Department of Defense protocol • Communicate with leadership and participate in individual and group supervision • Share trends and issues affecting assigned installations • Participate in in-services, training, quality improvement committees, and other contract activities • Comply with applicable security, legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal policy requirements • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Associate degree plus 4 years' experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree • High school diploma plus 6 years' experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree • 3+ years of financial counseling experience • Must be a U.S. citizen • Must speak fluent English • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish if required by the contract • Able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation • Must be able to pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process • Must have one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) • Valid in-state driver's license
