Magna Legal Services is a U. S. -based provider of end-to-end litigation support services for law firms, insurance companies, corporations, and government agencies. 📋 Description

• Proofread scoped transcripts for accuracy, consistency, formatting, grammar, punctuation, and compliance with company standards before delivery to court reporters • Identify and correct transcript errors while preserving the integrity of the official record • Perform quality assurance reviews against established quality and accuracy standards • Provide feedback and coaching to newly onboarded scopists • Collaborate with scopists, court reporters, and internal team members to resolve transcript questions • Use Magna's proprietary transcript management platform to review, edit, track, and manage workflow • Identify quality trends and recommend process improvements, training opportunities, and best practices • Ensure adherence to style guides, formatting requirements, and transcript production standards • Prioritize workload to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy • Support quality assurance initiatives, process improvement projects, and other operational needs • Share knowledge and promote continuous improvement within the team

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience as a scopist with advanced transcript proofreading and editing skills • Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence structure, and transcript formatting • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle errors while preserving the official record • Excellent written communication skills for clear, professional, constructive feedback • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and meet production deadlines • Proficiency with computer applications and ability to learn proprietary software systems • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and high quality standards • Experience with transcript quality assurance, editorial review, or proofreading in a legal transcript production environment preferred • Experience mentoring or coaching scopists or production team members preferred • Familiarity with quality assurance metrics, process improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred • Experience in a remote, deadline-driven production environment preferred • Experience collaborating with court reporters and production teams preferred
