📋 Description

• Support the Assistant Controller in overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting functions • Manage accounting and tax compliance activities • Prepare consolidated financial statements • Manage the month close process and general accounting functions, including intercompany accounting, account reconciliations, consolidation, and reporting • Monitor and enforce compliance with GAAP • Lead and develop the Accounting team through coaching, training, and mentorship • Assist in managing the annual audit process, including audit schedules, supporting documentation, and coordination with external auditors • Evaluate, develop, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls • Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards • Support accounting and financial integration activities related to acquisitions and other business transactions • Identify opportunities and drive process improvement, automation, and implementation of accounting best practices • Partner with Accounts Payable, FP&A, Treasury, Sales, Marketing, and Operations • Support accurate financial reporting, operational efficiency, strategic initiatives, audit activities, and M&A integration efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting-related work experience • At least 4 years of experience effectively building and leading a team and managing accounting functions in a public company, private equity-backed company, or similar environment • CPA and public accounting experience preferred • Experience with month close and consolidated financial reporting • Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP • Experience supporting audits and maintaining internal controls • Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills • Continuous improvement mindset and track record of driving efficiencies with focus on quality and controls • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment where urgency, accountability, and follow-through are critical • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and deadlines • Proficiency with general ledger software, ideally NetSuite • Advanced Excel skills
