📋 Description

• Collaborate with field sales teams to educate key recommenders and drive recommendations, market share, and sales growth • Cultivate relationships with specialty referral hospitals to expand nutrition category sales within surrounding general practices • Strengthen strategic accounts through regional medical leadership relationships and high-impact events • Develop and nurture Key Opinion Leader (KOL) advocate and speaker networks • Deliver Royal Canin nutrition education to veterinarians, technicians, and hospital staff • Contribute to veterinary business growth through collaboration and joint business planning with sales teams • Serve as a trusted technical resource and provide expert support • Represent Royal Canin at veterinary conferences and events • Provide nutritional case consultations to veterinary partners and clients • Manage territory and regional coverage requirements • Travel 3–4 days per week, with one day allocated for remote home-office work • Support field-based teams through local and air travel • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (or VMD) with an active license in at least one state • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a veterinary practitioner, including internships, co-ops, and/or residency • Preference for small or companion animal practice experience • Exceptional scientific communication and presentation skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Willingness and ability to travel extensively—up to 75% within the assigned territory • Eligibility for a company vehicle • Flexibility to travel during nights and weekends • Ability to independently manage travel arrangements • Must be willing and able to travel to fulfill the role responsibilities • Mars does not sponsor visas for this role • Position is not eligible for relocation benefits
