📋 Description

• Assess network access and generate provider network analysis and planning reports, including Geo Access reports • Identify provider recruitment opportunities • Analyze and develop cost-effective contractual agreements with healthcare providers and institutions • Evaluate current contracts and apply managed care reimbursement principles to identify cost savings while maintaining quality • Research contract operational procedures and coordinate with departments to streamline processes • Coordinate implementation of new contracts • Coordinate internal review and evaluate administrative feasibility throughout the contracting process • Initiate contract flow, ensure appropriate signatures, and enter data into systems • Act as team lead and trainer for Provider Data Coordinators • Ensure legal and regulatory review of contracts before execution • Monitor provider availability and accessibility to ensure network coverage • Create and review Geo Access reports and recommend future provider network expansion • Assist with onsite contractual reviews • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of provider-file and Geo Access system data entry • Train providers on MPC processes and benefits, conduct follow-up training, and distribute written correspondence as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to review and comprehend contracts and services • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings • Advanced reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and manage action plans • Advanced organization and coordination skills • Ability to use geographic accessibility data • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common computer and office hardware • Bachelor’s degree in business, health, management systems, or a closely related field is preferred • Equivalent combination of formal education and experience may substitute for a degree • Experience with large provider organizations, ancillary providers, and hospital providers • Knowledge of clinical terminology • Working experience with Geo Access or an equivalent system is required
