📋 Description

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy and case management according to individual needs • Establish relationships with families for each client on the caseload • Complete mental health assessments, treatment plans, comprehensive progress reports, discharge summaries, and other clinical paperwork • Document services within the week provided while meeting licensing, accreditation, and billing requirements • Participate in outcome measurements and utilization review • Provide crisis intervention and specialized treatment interventions • Collaborate with treatment teams to review client progress and provide individualized treatment services • Deliver treatment meeting Medicaid, DCFS, contracting agency, licensing, accreditation, and best-practice standards • Assess placement and service needs and advocate for appropriate placement and services • Provide and document clinical supervision to non-licensed staff • Maintain collaborative relationships with child-serving providers, medical and educational personnel, program personnel, and third-party agencies • Meet service-hour targets • Seek supervision and use supervisory input • Evaluate youth in crisis, including danger to self or others • Organize and present information in training forums • Attend and represent the agency at meetings and conferences • Complete required training and participate in continuous performance quality improvement • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate degree (Master’s or Doctorate) from an accredited clinical program • Experience providing clinical services to a child and adolescent population is preferred • Clinical license preferred • Must conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing • Frequently sit, stand, bend, stoop and walk, sometimes for extended periods; able to walk up and down stairs • Able to lift/move objects weighing in excess of 40 pounds • Ability to provide physical restraint to youth • Visual, hearing, and learning capabilities sufficient to perform the essential functions • Work may involve contact with threatening, aggressive, and/or intoxicated youth • Must complete required training
