📋 Description

• Define the Microsoft Fabric architecture, including environments, bronze, silver, and gold lakehouse schemas, and a master data hub in a Fabric SQL database • Design the enterprise data model and classify entities as master data or domain data • Design the Employee master with a golden record, system-ID cross-reference, attribute lineage, and audit • Define matching rules using shared ID, exact, probabilistic, and blocking approaches, with configurable business thresholds • Establish survivorship rules by attribute based on system ownership • Design the stewardship model and synchronization back to Epicor, payroll, and security systems through Fabric pipelines or MuleSoft • Secure sensitive employee data using Entra ID and row-level security • Set engineering standards for Git, deployment pipelines, testing, and documentation • Lead the build-versus-buy evaluation for MDM • Lead a Data Engineer and Power BI Developer • Explain technical decisions to IT, business owners, and leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data • 3+ years as an architect or technical lead on Azure • Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience, or deep Synapse or Databricks on Azure plus active Fabric adoption • Production experience designing a medallion architecture • MDM or entity resolution design, including matching without shared keys, survivorship, and stewardship • Data modeling for Power BI and operational hubs • Integration patterns using APIs, file extracts, and write-back to source systems • Hands-on MuleSoft experience designing integrations • Governance and security for sensitive data • English C1 and comfort presenting to executives
