📋 Description

• Lead the technical accounting function, including interpretation and application of U.S. GAAP • Serve as the subject matter expert on ASC 606 revenue recognition, including contract review, policy development, and issue resolution • Manage and coordinate global statutory audits, including audits in non-U.S. jurisdictions • Partner external audit firm to ensure compliance with local GAAP and statutory reporting requirements • Draft and maintain accounting policies and technical memos for complex transactions • Lead adoption and implementation of new accounting standards • Oversee relationships with external auditors and advisors • Strengthen and maintain internal controls over financial reporting • Act as the technical specialist for ASC 842 lease standards • Manage accounting for acquisitions including opening balance sheets

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred) • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and industry • Deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition • Significant experience managing statutory audits in multiple non-U.S. jurisdictions • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements • Experience interfacing directly with external auditors and executive leadership.
