📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments, including medical-history review, mental-status examinations, and diagnosis formulation • Develop individualized treatment plans, including medications, therapy, and other interventions • Provide evidence-based, patient-centered psychiatric care focused on women’s or perinatal health • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on progress, side effects, and changing clinical needs • Educate and counsel patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies • Maintain accurate, current patient records and electronic health records in compliance with legal and ethical standards • Stay current with psychiatric nursing and women’s health research and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team • Participate in meetings and contribute to clinical-team innovation and growth • Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards

🎯 Requirements

• Valid and active New York Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license • Valid and active New York DEA with schedules 2-5 • Ability to work independently in a 100% virtual environment • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with emphasis on patient-centered care • Proficiency using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software • Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards • Additional state licensures and DEAs • Minimum of two years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner • Experience in women’s health or perinatal mental health • Ability to learn new technologies for virtual care • Ongoing education and professional development
