• Provide behavioral healthcare, counseling, case management, and clinical support services for Special Operations Forces personnel and their families • Support the psychological, social, and operational readiness of Service Members • Attend professional, quality improvement, staff, commander’s staff, and other required meetings • Conduct USSOCOM/POTFF-approved applied research and clinical investigations • Apply interviewing, behavioral assessment, and evidence-based therapies in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment • Provide individual, family, group, and couples therapy, plus alcohol and drug treatment evaluations • Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, and school districts • Participate in military-specific training and activities, including pre- and post-deployment screening, PTSD, and combat stress activities • Contact referred clients to assess treatment adherence • Use validated symptom inventories to assess symptom severity • Assess treatment-adherence barriers and help clients problem-solve solutions • Educate clients about mental health conditions and treatment regimens • Maintain client information in a client registry • Staff difficult cases with referring providers, behavioral health consultants, and psychiatry consultants • Perform case management functions • Provide clinical supervision of unlicensed providers or trainees, as applicable • Maintain required documentation in approved systems and support program requirements • Supervise a team of employees and cultivate a high-performance team • Ensure adequate staff coverage for the assigned program area • Serve as a subject matter expert for an identified program knowledge area • Ensure the assigned team meets contract requirements and individual SLAs • Identify improvement and efficiency opportunities with contract management and shared services • Attend client and stakeholder meetings as needed • Perform other related duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or relevant experience in lieu of degree • Minimum of two years of related experience • Current LCSW or LMSW with license valid in the state of practice is required • Must meet credentialing and privileging standards under Defense Health Agency-Procedures Manual 6025.13 • Experience in brief behavioral interventions • Minimum of two years of peer-reviewable clinical work experience in a mental health setting • U.S. citizenship required • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required, or eligibility to obtain and maintain one as required for contract performance • Position is pending upon contract award • Experience working in a government setting, such as DoW or Department of Veterans Affairs Military Treatment Facility, preferred • Experience supporting military, Special Operations, behavioral health, or human performance environments preferred • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary clinical teams, commanders, and operational leadership preferred • Reliable high-speed internet service: minimum 20 Mbps download/50 Mbps for shared connectivity and 5 Mbps upload • Private and secure workspace • Must meet applicable credentialing and privileging standards
