📋 Description

• Work in conjunction with the Operations Manager to assure compliance with service expectations and achievement of performance goals and objectives. • Prepare reports and maintain records/maintain records as requested or required. • Develop, implement, and deliver training programs for all levels of pharmacy personnel. • Coordinate training schedule with members of management. • Develop and maintain continual education support materials to assist the pharmacy staff in learning the specialized pharmacy systems. • Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training. • Perform other job-related duties as required.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED, some college coursework preferred • PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification) required • Minimum of 4 years of Pharmacy experience required • Previous pharmacy system training experience preferred • Must be detail oriented, be able to work independently, and must have solid self-motivation skills. • General knowledge of generally accepted pharmacy principles, practices and procedures, pharmaceutical generic and trade names, general mathematics, personal computers. • Ability to use a computer to assess patient/drug information systems • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal pharmacy support. • Experience typing prescriptions required. • Knowledge of pharmacy accreditation and certification requirements such as ACHC and URAC Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation.
