• Build and lead a sales and business development team to meet or exceed SLTT revenue targets • Translate strategy into actionable plans, budgets, and quarterly milestones • Own pipeline governance, including CRM data, forecasting, and stage-gate reviews • Support Go/No-Go decisions for Capture and RFX activities • Coordinate with Capture and Proposals teams across the opportunity lifecycle • Develop win themes and pricing strategies for emergency management, CDBG-DR, and similar programs • Develop and implement revenue strategies aligned with company objectives • Collaborate with Marketing and Operations on lead-generation and customer-acquisition campaigns • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention, and expand services with current clients • Work with Operations, market leads, and practice leads to align offerings with market demand • Monitor revenue streams, budgets, and financial performance • Provide monthly leadership and board reporting • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, competitive threats, and industry trends • Recruit, coach, and retain talent • Develop relationships with partner firms and subcontractors • Travel for client work, conferences, and key events • Complete required compliance and safety training • Establish and follow health and safety guidelines • Perform other duties as assigned
• Strategic thinker with executive presence • Strong communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills • Proven business development success with measurable year-over-year revenue growth • Knowledge of Emergency Management, CDBG-DR, and government grant programs, including price-to-win strategies • Proficiency with CRM platforms and pipeline management • Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics • Market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessment capabilities • Availability to travel 50–75% with short notice • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Political Science, Public Administration, or Business Management preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience • 8–12 years of experience in sales leadership or business development with a track record in SLTT markets and complex deals • Experience in disaster recovery, emergency management, technology, or infrastructure preferred • Completion of annual compliance and safety training • Upon hire, disclosure and approval of secondary employment and other employment restrictions
