📋 Description

• Advise Business Unit / Functional leadership and contribute to McCormick's Enterprise Architecture strategy • Understand business domains, strategic business needs, and roadmaps • Solve complex technology architecture and business-significant problems • Lead development of architecture strategy, roadmaps, and guardrails • Guide investment decisions using business capability models, technology reference models, and functional roadmaps • Represent capability domain needs within Enterprise Architecture • Track and assess emerging and existing technologies and evolve innovations • Align architecture with global IT standards and Enterprise Architecture principles • Provide architectural designs and guidance for complex projects • Serve as a trusted advisor to Product Line leadership • Lead solution architecture across projects and products • Create governing principles and standards for architecture decisions • Identify and resolve exceptions to architectural standards • Develop architectural and security requirements • Research emerging technologies and recommend cost-effective, flexible solutions • Develop, document, and communicate systems architecture investment plans

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • 8+ Years of IT experience, with significant time in an engineering / architecture role • Significant business acumen for the CPG industries • Depth in business and technical architecture domains, including infrastructure, applications, integration, information and data, and cybersecurity • Familiarity with information management practices, regulatory requirements, and data privacy laws • Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, ERP, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics • Ability to define and communicate technology vision and actionable architecture roadmaps • Proficiency leading and influencing cross-functional teams • Change management expertise • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions independently • Ability to multitask with urgency and a rigorous, structured approach • Ability to develop trusted-advisor relationships with business and technical stakeholders • Ability to work with people across disciplines and varying levels of business or technical knowledge • Clear verbal and written communication skills • Exposure to Scrum, SAFe, and DevOps methodologies • Knowledge of strategic technologies relevant to McCormick's next three to five years • Ability to create and share enabling architecture guidance or reference architectures • Must be eligible to work in the United States; McCormick does not offer employment visa sponsorship
