📋 Description

• Develop and execute BIM Execution Plans across assigned projects • Collaborate with internal project teams, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners • Ensure project partner accountability aligns with project schedules and BIM Execution Plans • Develop 3D models for site logistics, 4D phase planning, and marketing or pursuit efforts • Create 3D virtual mockups and manage coordination among design disciplines, subcontractors, and fabricators • Lead and facilitate 3D coordination efforts on projects ranging from small to mega-scale • Promote VDC technologies internally and externally • Create 2D, 3D, 4D, and 5D deliverables using Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Fuzor • Support the VDC Director or project teams in defining VDC scope, schedules, and budgets • Mentor and lead junior VDC personnel • Utilize BIM for visualization, constructability reviews, and project coordination • Train project team members on accessing and using VDC and BIM deliverables • Contribute lessons learned and feedback to improve company processes and VDC standards • Assist in managing and updating VDC content libraries and standard work documentation • Visit construction jobsites as required and travel by plane or car as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or equivalent AEC industry experience • 4-6 years of experience planning and executing BIM and VDC at the project level • Advanced proficiency with BIM authoring software, including Revit, and 3D coordination tools such as Revizto and Navisworks • Experience planning and executing laser scanning, including processing and creating deliverables from scan data • Preferred: 6-8 years of experience planning and executing BIM and VDC at the project level • Preferred: Experience setting up and managing projects in Revizto • Preferred: Part 107 certification and experience leveraging drones and associated software to produce project deliverables • Preferred: Familiarity with 360 photo platforms and progress tracking best practices • Preferred: Experience with 4D/5D modeling and animation using Fuzor, Synchro Pro, or similar • Preferred: Experience developing virtual mockups and collaborating on their execution • Preferred: Programming experience using Dynamo, Python, or similar scripting languages • Experience mentoring and developing less experienced VDC professionals • Strong knowledge of construction delivery models, documentation, and sequencing • Ability to train and support VDC and non-VDC personnel in workflows, tools, and technology • Strong visualization skills to create accurate 2D, 3D, 4D, and 5D deliverables • Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and LEAN and VDC best practices • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision • Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds as frequently as needed, use a computer keyboard and mouse, hear and speak clearly, distinguish colors on graphs and charts, and occasionally visit construction jobsites
