📋 Description

• Lead valuation analyses for M&A opportunities and capital deployment decisions using discounted cash flow and other valuation methodologies • Create and maintain driver-based operating models for business performance, strategic alternatives, and transaction assumptions • Manage the M&A due diligence process with Corporate Finance and cross-functional partners • Identify financial risks and opportunities related to transactions • Analyze transaction documents and communicate the financial implications of negotiations • Communicate operating and valuation drivers to senior leadership • Prepare financial schedules and supporting analysis for M&A presentations to Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors • Review business-developed valuation analyses for capital deployment • Assist with capital presentations for Senior Leadership and the Board • Build relationships with business units, Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and other corporate functions • Perform ad hoc financial, strategic, and transaction-related analyses

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant degree • Typically 10 years of professional experience • 5+ years of valuation, M&A, or transaction advisory experience • Ability to coordinate multiple projects with minimal direction • Ability to interact with business units across the organization • Ability to present deal results and status to senior leadership • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills • Financial reporting knowledge, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, net working capital, and capital expenditures • Ability to apply financial and strategic analysis to companies, publicly traded competitors, and companies of strategic interest • Exceptional financial modeling skills, including WACC calculation, discounted cash flow modeling, market multiple analysis, leveraged buyout analysis, and other valuation methodologies • Exceptional verbal communication skills • Strong written communication skills • Excellent PC skills and solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint • Experience using Capital IQ preferred • Occasional travel to a McKesson hub expected
