📋 Description

• Design electrical systems and perform detailed design calculations, focusing on power system analysis • Lead and perform Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, Short Circuit Studies, and Protective Device Coordination using SKM, ETAP, or Easy Power • Review, sign, and seal projects in compliance with applicable codes and standards • Conduct site visits for data collection, as-built validation, client coordination, Arc Flash labeling, and electrical safety compliance • Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders • Prepare record drawings • Participate in inspections and commissioning work • Write and edit specifications for electrical equipment and systems, including overcurrent protective devices, switchgear, and transformers • Complete jobs accurately, on schedule, and within budget • Assist in developing internal standards and templates for electrical safety analysis deliverables • Collaborate with Meade staff, clients, vendors, and external disciplines • Mentor junior staff

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of Electrical Engineering design experience in the construction or power systems industry • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • Electrical P.E. license or Engineering in Training certification preferred • Proven power-system design experience for data centers, commercial offices, manufacturing, or medical facilities • Experience with Arc Flash Studies, Protective Device Coordination, and Short Circuit Analysis • Working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E, and IEEE 1584 standards • Familiarity with Medium Voltage equipment selection and specifications preferred • Experience working independently, managing priorities, and mentoring junior staff • Strong understanding of National and International Building Codes • Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility in achieving long-term objectives • Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and team-oriented • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, BIM, Revit, and SKM, ETAP, or Easy Power • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Employment may be contingent upon successful background checks, drug testing, and other pre-employment requirements
