📋 Description

• Lead the design and engineering of plumbing system layouts, including domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, and gas piping systems • Perform and review plumbing design calculations for code and standards compliance • Use Revit to produce and review plumbing construction documents • Oversee design schedules, deliverables, and project milestones • Select plumbing equipment and fixtures based on specifications, performance, and efficiency goals • Review and respond to submittals, RFIs, and change orders • Assist with site visits, inspections, and field verification as required • Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers • Mentor junior designers and engineering staff • Support project meetings and client presentations with technical input and leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field • 4+ years of professional plumbing design experience for commercial or industrial projects • Proven experience designing plumbing systems for large-scale or mission-critical facilities • Proficiency in Revit for plumbing system design and documentation • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, NFPA standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Employment may be contingent upon successful background checks, drug testing, and other pre-employment requirements • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred • Experience working on data centers, industrial, or mission-critical facilities preferred • Familiarity with MEP system coordination and integrated building systems preferred • ASPE certification or other relevant professional credentials preferred • Experience with sustainable plumbing design, including LEED and water efficiency systems preferred
