📋 Description

• Educate and engage prospective cochlear implant candidates, recipients, families, and healthcare professionals • Conduct individual meetings and provide education, resources, and peer or community support • Manage consumer inquiries, provide follow-up, and maintain accurate documentation • Participate in MED-EL Monday programs and educational initiatives for new recipients • Support education on product upgrades, second-side implantation, accessories, and available services • Develop relationships with cochlear implant centers and healthcare professionals across the assigned territory • Establish and strengthen referral pathways and improve patient education and recipient support • Develop communication plans with key centers and implement locally tailored engagement activities • Collaborate with regional account management and customer service representatives • Build awareness and participation in MED-EL’s HearPeer Community • Recruit, train, develop, and engage HearPeer Mentors • Contribute HearPeer content for social media, newsletters, educational resources, and other channels • Plan and participate in conferences, educational programs, and community events • Coordinate event logistics, travel arrangements, presentations, exhibit staffing, and follow-up • Deliver presentations to consumers, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners • Contribute to programs, educational resources, marketing initiatives, and consumer experience improvements • Track activities, initiatives, and outcomes using CRM and company systems • Maintain records, prepare trip reports, coordinate outreach, and document and follow up on consumer concerns or complaints • Manage assigned activities within established budgets, policies, and procedures • Collaborate with regional and national colleagues to share insights and support organizational goals

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree preferred in audiology or a related field focused on hearing disorders, hearing healthcare, hearing loss interventions, or a comparable area • Three to five years of relevant professional experience in hearing healthcare, patient or consumer engagement, healthcare education, account development, or a related field • Experience with cochlear implants, hearing healthcare, or the medical device industry is highly valued • Bilingual Spanish and English • Comfortable working independently in a geographically dispersed territory • Ability to maintain close communication and collaboration with regional and national teams • Willingness to travel regionally throughout the assigned Southeast territory and occasionally nationally
