📋 Description

• Lead the overall Power BI strategy, governance framework, platform roadmap, and enterprise standards • Partner with IT, Infrastructure, Security, Data Engineering, and Database Administration teams to optimize the Power BI environment • Oversee administration and optimization of the Microsoft Power BI Service, including tenant configurations, governance, scalability, availability, and security • Define and manage Power BI licensing strategies and monitor utilization, capacity, and cost optimization • Establish scalable data architecture and modeling standards • Translate revenue cycle business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions • Design and develop complex Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, DAX calculations, and measures • Collaborate with data teams and analysts to acquire, clean, transform, and validate data • Develop recurring daily, weekly, and monthly reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses • Maintain understanding of client-specific revenue cycle data and requirements • Ensure compliance with data security, HIPAA, governance, and organizational best practices • Troubleshoot Power BI, reporting, data, and performance issues • Compile client-facing reports and communicate findings and solutions to stakeholders • Provide Power BI training, guidance, and ongoing end-user support • Stay current with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, data analytics, and visualization capabilities • Use, protect, and disclose patients’ PHI in accordance with HIPAA standards • Comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or relevant fields required • 5-7 years of experience or equivalent in a revenue cycle analytics position in the healthcare industry • 2+ years’ experience managing and mentoring a team of direct reports • Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation • Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts • Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction • Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts • Experience collaborating with customer support/client issue resolution management • Thorough understanding of best practices for efficiently working with large data sets • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required • Must possess a smart-phone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes
