📋 Description

• Manage all operational aspects of AR outsourcing engagements • Oversee engagement teams • Maintain positive relationships with clients • Provide assistance and resolution to external and internal client inquiries • Prepare required reports and logs • Serve as a technical expert on financial class responsibility for clients and team members • Maintain current knowledge of healthcare issues and regulations, especially government payors • Report payment and denial trends and procedural problems to clients • Recommend corrections for identified trends and problems • Establish goals and priorities aligned with organizational objectives • Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable laws, regulations, governance, Information Security, and HIPAA requirements • Report policy, governance, legal, and regulatory violations through available mechanisms • Assist with internal control failure remediation • Communicate internal control concerns and process changes to management • Implement and monitor internal controls within the area of responsibility • Ensure internal control change management protocols are followed and communicated • Ensure remote client access is disabled promptly for terminated or transferred employees when applicable • Ensure direct reports are trained and compliant with Information Security and HIPAA policies • Use, protect, and disclose PHI in accordance with HIPAA standards • Limit PHI viewing to the minimum necessary • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required • 10 years minimum experience in a hospital business office setting or similar setting • 7 years minimum experience managing hospital receivables in an Acute care setting or equivalent • Prior Management experience required • Knowledge of governmental, legal and regulatory provisions related to collection activity • Knowledge of insurance company practices regarding reimbursement • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization • Strong problem solving and creative skills; ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required • Must be reliable, responsible, goal oriented and flexible • Must possess a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes • Ability to follow directions, collaborate with others, handle stress, and work individually and in a team environment • Occasional travel to client locations
