📋 Description

• Credential and enroll new and established health care providers and maintain required information • Communicate with providers to explain processes and obtain signed applications • Collect, update, maintain, and verify provider information and documentation • Establish and maintain data entry in CAQH • Prepare initial and re-credentialing provider enrollment applications accurately and promptly • Verify provider and group information with insurance companies, including addresses, contracted plans, and provider ID numbers • Coordinate enrollment and termination information for providers • Handle enrollment with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance companies • Contribute to departmental processes and procedures • Work departmental client WQs and smart feeds where applicable • Maintain the provider enrollment mailbox and complete follow-up actions • Protect and disclose patients’ PHI according to HIPAA standards and comply with information security policies

🎯 Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent required • Minimum two years of provider enrollment experience • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, and CAQH • Billing knowledge and experience preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and creative skills • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation • Gracious and welcoming personality for customer service interactions • Must possess a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes • Ability to follow directions, collaborate with others, handle stress, and perform the stated physical and mental duties
