• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including SaaS agreements, master service agreements, partnership contracts, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts. • Help maintain and improve contract templates, including improving commercial contracting playbooks and workflows. • Draft and review privacy-related documents such as data processing agreements, privacy policies, terms of use and risk assessments. • Assist in integrating AI tools into legal workflows (e.g., contract review automation). • Assist in managing the contract lifecycle process including by optimizing the use of contract management tools. • Manage ad hoc legal projects and support broader legal team initiatives.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing. • Practical experience negotiating commercial contracts gained in a law firm, in-house, or a combination of both for 2+ years. • Ability to independently manage and negotiate commercial contracts including those with customers and vendors. • Familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory issues including those relevant to GDPR and CCPA. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills. • Attention to detail with a strong understanding of legal and business risks in contracts. • Strong problem-solving orientation with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
