📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical and clinical resource for Cardiac Surgery in New England • Partner with Territory Managers, District Managers, Area Leadership, Marketing, and Medical Affairs • Support physician training, first-case support, clinical education, market development, and physician adoption • Provide technical leadership for implantation and utilization of Medtronic Surgical Based Therapy products and procedures • Educate physicians, physician assistants, perfusionists, and operating room staff • Troubleshoot complex procedural challenges and support physician adoption and growth phases • Support customer communication regarding device complaints, product evaluations, and explants • Collaborate on physician targeting and Medtronic-sponsored training programs • Provide post-training follow-up, procedural reviews, in-servicing, and first-case support • Support minimally invasive cardiac surgery and advanced procedural training initiatives • Develop customer and physician-leader relationships • Train and support sales representatives and clinical specialists • Support resident, fellow, and early-career surgeon education initiatives • Communicate competitive information, market trends, and clinical evidence • Maintain hospital access, vendor credentialing, training, and compliance requirements • Schedule travel, complete expense reports, and manage priorities across a large geography • Report directly to the District Manager, Cardiac Surgery

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma with a minimum of 14 years experience including cath lab, CVOR, or clinical experience OR Associate Diploma with a minimum of 12 years experience OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience • Valid driver's license • Must reside within the territory • Experience with cardiac implantable devices • Experience with education and training techniques • Approximately 60–70% travel throughout territory • Ability to support occasional physician training programs, national meetings, wet labs, and educational events outside the assigned geography • Available and willing to work evenings and weekends as required • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment, unless eligible for sponsorship under Medtronic's Principal-level-and-above policy
