📋 Description

• Accurately process and record settlements with complex fee divisions, expenses and multiple liens, in a short turnaround period. • Work with Finance team management to ensure accurate reporting of firms IOLTA accounts in various jurisdictions. • Work closely with the firm’s primary financial institution and track the case lines of credit. • Review and approve invoices, create expense reports, process reimbursements, deposit and issue checks. • Accurately pay and record the different operating costs of the firm (i.e. rent, utilities, etc) in Quickbooks. • Calculate and track attorney’s fees, including referral fees.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a law firm or legal services environment. • Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, advanced formulas, etc) • Basic (2+ years) QuickBooks knowledge
