📋 Description

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in the propulsion and effects domain, labelled benign, dual-use, or adversarial • Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard • Judge whether responses handled technical requests correctly • Write reference answers and explain the technical reasoning behind them • Apply expert judgment to distinguish legitimate professional questions from misuse-oriented requests • Provide written rationales accessible to non-specialists • Read and write about misuse scenarios in the field for sustained periods • Participate in an expert briefing about the work and pause or step away when needed without penalty

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing, qualifying, or testing propulsion and initiation systems with real hardware and real test data • Relevant background in munitions or warhead design and effects engineering; solid, liquid, or hybrid propulsion system design, test, and qualification; terminal effects modelling; fuzing, safe-and-arm, and initiation system engineering; or test range engineering and instrumentation for propulsion or ordnance • Ability to distinguish routine professional questions from potentially harmful requests • Strong writing skills and ability to provide written rationales understandable to non-specialists • Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience is a strong signal • Must not use classified, export-controlled, NDA-protected, or prepublication-review information • Must disclose any continuing obligations involving classified, export-controlled, NDA-protected, or prepublication-review information • LinkedIn URL required unless the applicant selects “I don't have a LinkedIn”
