📋 Description

• Manage and develop a designated sales territory of Independent Agencies, focusing on those with complex profiles. • Create and implement strategic plans to maximize agency growth and profitability. • Identify potential independent agencies for partnership through market research, networking, and industry events. • Establish and nurture strong relationships with agency partners to understand their needs and challenges. • Influence agencies to quote and sell Mercury products to their customers effectively. • Execute sales strategies to grow Mercury’s market share within the assigned territory. • Conduct results-based planning for weekly in-person or virtual sales calls. • Gather and analyze competitor intelligence to inform strategic decision-making. • Drive results through regular contact with assigned agencies, utilizing effective communication supported by data and metrics. • Hold agency owners accountable for mutually agreed-upon goals and outcomes. • Respond to telephone and written correspondence from agents and customers, addressing comments, questions, and concerns promptly.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, or a related field
