• Manage the entire sales process with strategic focus on the US Energy / Utilities market segment • Present and advocate Meteomatics' weather solutions; advise clients on technical and meteorological applications • Build and develop pipeline to achieve quarterly and yearly targets • Represent Meteomatics at conferences and trade fairs in the US (and internationally when needed) • Partner closely with internal teams (Meteodrone development, software, meteorology, marketing) to shape offerings and strategy • Keep sales systems (HubSpot & Gong) updated and provide accurate business forecasts on a regular basis • Continuously develop knowledge and competencies and contribute energy and innovation to the global sales team
• Demonstrable experience selling enterprise software (preferably SaaS) into the Energy / Utilities market • Preferably 5+ years in a commercial or customer-facing role • Previous experience in New Business Sales / Account Management with proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and strong negotiation skills • Enthusiasm for leveraging weather information to solve business challenges • Data-driven, commercially minded • Excellent communication skills in English • Proven team player with ability to work unsupervised and as part of a close team • Some previous knowledge of meteorological applications desirable but not necessary • Experience with CRM and sales tools (HubSpot, Gong) and keeping sales systems updated • US working permit essential
