📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for various applications • Produce network architecture, cause and effect diagrams, and control philosophies for complete automation and process control systems • Apply control theory, automation, and programming knowledge to create efficient and reliable systems • Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices • Develop and implement control algorithms and software using Ladder Logic and Function Block Diagram programming • Test and validate control systems against performance requirements • Troubleshoot and diagnose control system issues • Implement solutions to improve system performance and reliability • Install, configure, and test software systems on-site during startup and commissioning • Evaluate system performance and improve production efficiency and downtime • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, project managers, stakeholders, specialists, and clients • Communicate technical information clearly and concisely • Design and implement control systems safely and support safety protocols and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in control systems and startup/commissioning • Strong understanding of control theory, automation, and programming • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex technical problems with close attention to detail • Experience with low voltage controls • Clear and effective verbal and written communication in English with customers and co-workers • Ability to work safely and contribute to a safety-focused team • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools • Familiarity with Allen Bradley, GE, Siemens, Schneider, DeltaV, Wonderware, OPC Systems SCADA, or related PLC/HMI/DCS platforms required • Industry experience in Semiconductor, Oil and Gas, Utilities, Agriculture, Metals, Mining, Paper, Data Centers, Health Care, or Food and Beverage preferred • Flexibility and willingness to work out-of-town with regular overnight travel • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations • Ability to pass a fit for duty physical exam when required • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
