• Perform highly visible on-site and remote software installations and upgrades of Varian software products • Troubleshoot and diagnose software installation and upgrade issues • Work with physical and virtual environments, operating systems, databases, software, and networking technologies • Review assigned task scopes to ensure hardware and software components are available • Complete task and installation documentation according to Varian Quality processes and procedures • Maintain customer system inventories using Keystone or equivalent • Collaborate with project management, software planning, local service, hardware installation, and remote software deployment teams • Demonstrate equipment operation and specifications according to the Customer Acceptance Procedure • Perform installation readiness reviews of customer IT infrastructure and project plans • Facilitate training and mentoring of new Installation Representatives as required • Coordinate with subject matter experts to support installation and upgrade activities • Perform installation and upgrade activities on small to medium-sized projects • Input detailed installation and upgrade records into company information systems • Maintain professionalism and safety according to company guidelines and customer regulations • Submit daily reports, work orders, timecards, expense reports, and other records promptly • Use problem-resolution escalation procedures and request technical assistance when necessary • Provide feedback on products and documentation to improve installation processes • Train, mentor, and advise new and less experienced Installation Representatives • Travel up to 75% across ASEAN and Korea as needed
• At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, etc. or equivalent, or at least 5-8 years of experience in related fields such as healthcare, medical or hospital environments • Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V • Experience administering Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and common server roles and features • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, routing, firewall concepts, and network connectivity troubleshooting • Ability to diagnose and resolve common network and system communication issues using standard troubleshooting methodologies and tools • Experience with Citrix or other remote application delivery and virtualization platforms is an advantage • Sound professional technical experience with system software and excellent debugging skills • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally on short notice within ASEAN, Korea, and other countries as required • Proficiency in the local language (Thai, Bahasa Malaysia) and English, written and spoken • Highly organized with detailed planning skills • Customer-focused attitude • Strong interpersonal communication skills
