📋 Description

• Read, interpret, and understand P&IDs, loop drawings, installation details, layout drawings, and construction documents • Complete assigned tasks according to construction project specifications • Install control panels, instrumentation, conduit, service equipment, MCCs, and panelboards • Install controls, fiber, network cabling, stainless tubing, and instrumentation • Wire control panels and instrumentation in the field • Install, calibrate, and commission pressure, flow, level, temperature, and analytical instruments • Troubleshoot instrumentation, control valves, process controllers, PLC hardware, and control systems • Repair, test, and install control panels, PLCs, I/O modules, and communications equipment • Maintain safety-focused behaviors and comply with company policies and safety protocols • Work in the field alongside engineers and field technicians

🎯 Requirements

• Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician license preferred, not required • Two-year Associate’s degree in Automation & Controls, Instrumentation, or similar technical program highly preferred • 2+ years of industrial electrical power and controls field experience preferred • Ability to work safely and contribute to a safety-focused team • ISA CCST certification preferred • Willingness to learn and work hands-on in the field • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment • Familiarity with field instruments, electronic test equipment, control valves, and control panels • Ability to use basic hand and power tools, ladders, and manlifts • Flexibility and willingness to work out-of-town with regular overnight travel • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and drive regularly • Ability to pass a fit-for-duty physical exam when required • Ability to pass pre-employment and periodic random drug tests • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record • Eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa • Fluent ability to read, write, and speak English
